The Subject Control program in intended for law enforcement, security, educational and medical personnel. Advanced principle-based training techniques focus on why various techniques work. This approach helps you develop the ability to find new ways to apply the principles in new and different situations. As a result you are better prepared to apply these self-defense skills in more situations. This course starts by helping you understand physio-kinetics, the science of how the body moves. This will help you to understand how to control the power, movement and balance of another. Applying these principles you will learn how to effectively control subjects by using their jaw and limbs. Jaw control provides a means of controlling a subject with little or no risk of injury to the subject. It has been tested and taught through over 100,000 repetitions with no injuries and it has proven to be effective against some of the most difficult to control subjects including emotional disturbed people. Understanding why the techniques work and the principles that make them effective you will be able to apply the techniques in more situations with better results. Key Benefits
Student Eligibility: Current commissioned peace officers, current CHL holders, educational and medical personnel, and currently commissioned security guards with proof of clean criminal history. On-site in-service training available for law enforcement agencies. All course participants will be required to submit proof of good character in accordance with DTG Policies. A 10% discount will be given for enrollment in multiple courses or enrollment of 2 or more in the same course. Enrollments must be purchased at the same time to receive the discount.
